The Marcus Amphitheater is a 23,000 capacity outdoor concert venue with spectacular views of Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee skyline. It is host to the music industry's hottest music superstars during the 11 days of Summerfest and throughout the rest of the summer.
Shows at the Marcus Amphitheater are RAIN OR SHINE. Ticket refunds or exchanges are not available.

The PIT section in front of the stage contains reserved seats.
It is not a general admission area.
When in use as an alternate stage configuration, the GAPIT section is general admission, standing room only in front of the stage.
Summerfest Concerts
Summerfest admission is included in the price of tickets for performances taking place at the Marcus Amphitheater during the festival. A Marcus Amphitheater concert ticket can be scanned at any Summerfest gate to provide admission to the grounds on the day of the show. The same ticket is scanned a second time as the patron enters the turnstiles into the Marcus Amphitheater.
The Marcus Amphitheater is a non-smoking venue. Designated smoking areas will be available outside the Marcus Amphitheater.
Marcus Amphitheater Box Office
The Marcus Amphitheater Box Office is located adjacent to the South Gate of Summerfest at the east end of Polk Street. Polk Street terminates in a circle directly in front of the Marcus Amphitheater Box Office and the Summerfest South Gate.

Regular box office hours may be re-evaluated after Summerfest based on the concert schedule for the rest of the season.
The Box Office is not able to sell "Paperless Tickets" on the first day of sales.
Types of Payment accepted at the Box Office:
Accepted: Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover credit cards and traveler's checks.
Summerfest Gift Cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Gift Cards can be accepted for the purchase of hard tickets only.
Not Accepted: Personal checks, money orders, cashier's checks, foreign currency, Ticketmaster gift cards or any other method of payment not specified as Accepted above..
The Box Office cannot accept any gift cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Summerfest Gift Cards, as payment for Paperless Tickets.

Free General Admission Wristbands
For select shows, a limited number of wristbands valid for free general admission lawn and/or bench seats will be available the day of the show. Bar-coded wristbands will be distributed for free general admission seats on a first-come, first-served basis only after admission to the Summerfest grounds has been obtained.
Once admission to the Summerfest grounds has been obtained, patrons interested in obtaining a wristband for free Marcus Amphitheater admission should proceed to the turnstiles located in the venue forecourt.
